WATCH NASCAR driver Ryan Newman's First Interview After Daytona Crash!

Ryan Newman sat down with the anchors of The Today Show to talk about his spectacular crash in the 2020 Daytona 500 that left him hospitalized with no-life threatening injuries. The exclusive interview was his first since the Feb. 17 crash.

Newman spent two days in the hospital following the crash on the final lap of the race and told them he suffered a "bruised brain," but no broken bones or other injuries despite being knocked unconscious at one point.

In the interview, Ryan says "(it's) still humbling to watch it and know that I'm sitting here without a headache, which is amazing." He added, "just a miracle on so many levels, and thankful for so many people for prayers, for all the things that went into me being safer in that situation."

Ryan has said he plans to return to racing this season to compete for a championship, but when isn't clear yet.
