It was a big night for the L.A. Rams winning their first championship for the franchise in more than 20 years. It was also the first one for the city of Los Angeles. The last time they won they were the St. Louis Rams....20 years ago!
But it was an even bigger night for Rams wide receiver Van Jefferson whose wife, Samaria, was watching from the stands and went into labor during the game.
Immediately after the win, Jefferson briefly had his daughter on the field and then rushed to get to the hospital.
Rams receiver Odell Beckham Jr. and his girlfriend were also “on standby” expecting a child any day now.
