Charlotte FC may have lost their debut opener Saturday night against LA Galaxy in Charlotte NC at Bank of America Stadium, but there were two big wins! First, the team set a Major League Soccer attendance record of 74,479 topping the old MLS high of 73,019 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium when the Atlanta United played the Portland Timbers for the MLS Cup in December 2018. The second win was when "The Voice" winner Michelle Brooks-Thompson began singing the National Anthem and her microphone went out. The entire crowd picked up the singing and finished the song in awe inspiring fashion!
