This is BIG news for Braves fans!
Ronald Acuña Jr. is officially back on the Atlanta Braves roster.He tore his ACL last year and has undergone an MRI, surgery and rehabilitation. He was carted off the field during a game against the Miami Marlins on June 21st. At the time, he was hitting .283 and had 24 homeruns with a .990 OPS in 82 games.
He has spent some time with the Triple-A team Gwinnett Stripers, but is now set to return for tonight’s game against Chicago.
The Braves have designated outfielder Alex Dickerson for reassignment to make room on the roster.
