No Beer At UGA Football For 2022 Season

Men's and Women's basketball had it, so did UGA Softball.... but NO BEER SALES AT UGA FOOTBALL!

"That’s not even a discussion point right now," UGA Athletic Director Josh Brooks told Fox 5. "We introduced it at Stegeman, Foley Field and softball and it’s been a slow roll out. We’re going to be very intentional about that. That’s just not on the agenda right now for Sanford." That's all the comments he would make Thursday after Georgia’s athletic board meeting at Lake Oconee.

You can still tailgate and turn up before the games, but don't expect to drop $15 on a beer inside the stadium anytime soon. "There’s a lot of elements into it, whether it’s the length of the game and the time, or the logistics of just doing it and preparing it," Brooks said. He revealed that they are testing it in the smaller venues but it's much harder when it involves 90,000 fans in a stadium. Of course, many of the private donor clubs and people with suites.

Let's GO DAWGS! Beer or no beer... let's get another Championship!
