The First GA Whataburger Opens in Kennesaw 11/28

North Georgia is getting their their first Whataburger in Kennesaw off of Town Park Lane, taking over where the old O'Charleys was. It marks the beginning of an expansion by the company into the region which includes locations in the metro Atlanta cities of Woodstock, Cumming, Snellville, Covington, and Buford, along with locations in Monroe, Athens, and Dawsonville.

On Monday, Nov. 28 at 11 a.m., Whataburger will open its doors in Kennesaw at 705 Town Park Lane The restaurant will feature double drive-thru lanes with digital menu boards as well as a custom mural inside featuring hometown landmarks. At this time, the restaurant will be drive-thru service only, but the chains plans to open the dining room as well as offering delivery.

Whataburger is an American regional fast food restaurant chain, headquartered and based in San Antonio, Texas, that specializes in hamburgers. The company, founded by Harmon Dobson and Paul Burton, opened its first restaurant in Corpus Christi, Texas, in 1950.
